Amy Edwards

(Female Swing / Dance Captain)

Amy was born down under, in Sydney, Australia. She began performing at the age of 6 and has since traveled the world
with her craft. Amy toured with Australia’s most successful vocal group Human Nature, who now have a residency at The Venetian on The Las Vegas Strip, in their Motown Arena Tour, performing to audiences of 10,000.

She was then cast in Disney’s “The Lion King”, and was directed by the show’s creator Julie Taymor, touring around Australia
and China. From here, Amy got the travel bug and moved to London, where she was a Swing and Assistant Dance Captain in the
original cast of Priscilla Queen of The Desert on the West End.

America was next on the list, and she chose to reside in Los Angeles, where she performed at a number of renowned Jazz
venues such as The House of Blues, Sayers Club, Hotel Café and The W Hotel Jazz night, alongside Stevie Wonder, Gladys
Knight and Tori Kelly.

Amy is a member of one of LA’s most sought after party bands, The Red Hot Band, which takes her all over the country.
She also has her own “Diva” show that she performs as a Guest Entertainer on leading Cruise Lines all over the world, which is
a dream that combines her passions of performing and travel. Most recently, she has just finished a US tour of West End’s
Abbamania where she played Abba member Frida, performing over 20 Abba classics to fans across America.

Amy now lives among the bright lights of Las Vegas and is thrilled to once again be apart of Priscilla in beautiful New Zealand. She hopes to continue performing all over the world, although she will still always call Australia home.
